With that said, here’s the overall process of creating a home with Carlisle Homes, from start to finish.

1. Selecting Your New Home

The first step is to actually select the home you’d like to create. Carlisle Homes offers you tons of different options when customizing virtually every aspect of your new residence. You can choose from dozens of different facade options, countless upgrades beautiful colors, and much more. Our homes are split into three ranges: T-Range, Affinity Collection, and EasyLiving. Each range has its own unique benefits, so take your time to discover the right option for you. If you would like to keep upgrades to a minimum in your new home, rest assured that each home built by Carlisle Homes comes standard with all of the modern and stylish features you would expect from a top-notch residence.

2. Signing the Contact

When you’re ready to move ahead with the construction of your new home, it’s time to sign the contract. This is when things really start moving, and your dream starts to become a reality. Carlisle Homes will handle most of the heavy paperwork for you, including drafting the contract and the six-star energy assessment. You’ll also get a chance to provide us with any feedback you might have about your general experience with our staff members. Note that once you have agreed upon and signed your new home contract, you cannot make any further changes to your home.

3. Construction

Next, it’s time to tackle the construction process itself. Your home will take between 16 and 30 weeks to complete, and this includes a number of stages;

• Bass: The first step is to create the bass of your home, and this includes laying a concrete slab.
• Frame: Framing carpenters will then step in and complete the wall frame and the roof trusses. A Building Surveyor will inspect the construction during this stage.
• Lock-up: Next, we’ll make sure that the brickwork, roof tiles, doors, and windows are all installed.
• Fixing: Finally, the internal walls and ceilings are put into place. This includes skirting boards, internal doors, cabinets, and much more.
• Finishing: The last finishing touches are put on your home during this stage. This includes painting, tiling, plumbing and electrical fit-off, and other tasks.

4. Enjoying Your News Home

The last step is simple: enjoy your new home! Before we part ways, you’ll also have the opportunity to raise any concerns or point out things that need to be touched up or repaired. That’s it!
